Proposed St. Petersburg Hospital And Cancer Centre.

This will be the state-of-the-art cancer hospital. It will act as a county level screening, training, treatment, referall and research centre.

The project will cater for the already overwhelmed cancer centres. The unit will carry initial capacity of 600 patients being catered by our multidisciplinary team of heath are.

MISSION

Advocates and supports Cancer prevention through vaccination and early screening. To make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by prostate, cervical and breast cancer. Aids in providing screening, vaccination, treatment, after-care, educational materials, and patient/family assistance and information. 

VISION

“To stop cancer before it starts”. Early, regular screening, early treatment with good prognosis. Embarking on the best oncological care on our proposed state-of-the-art-cancer hospital and use the Centre as a facility for cancer training and research. 

MODUS OPERANDI

The project initial phase will start at Gatundu-North Sub County. The project will be conducted through the use of the EVA System. This is a digital colposcope for enhanced visualization of the cervix. The EVA software provides secure online data management, image filters and annotations, and a telegynecology platform.

  • 13 screening health care personnel
  • 13 data clerks
  • 13 complete computer systems
  • 13 community health workers

Being a charitable community project, we look forward in improving the livelihoods of the entire Gatundu north Sub-County. Our initiative is to help those under privileged and uninsured in accessing this much needed services.


Cancer is one of the most under diagnosed disease and lacking much of the attention and only those with medical insurance are able to access this key service.
